'thinnovation' ...

invades the nation. geez.. i was just thinking about my 'powerbook' as the coolest laptop of 'em all, when suddenly here comes the 'macbook'.. and then the imac... i haven't collected myself fully yet and another news came out so sudden... and the 'air' flew upon me...

here it is... MacBook Air.. the thinnest of them all. looks like steve jobs really wanted to be the world's first to always introduce new innovation. this actually left sony's oled vaio and samsung's oled technology behind (in terms of introduction). hey... i have posted about oleds here in my blog and if you got no idea what it means.. better check this out---> http://lengskididoodles.blogspot.com/2007/06/thinner-is-better.html

anyway, here's how the copy of the macbook air goes :

Hmmm.. I still have to see it first before I completely agree.. but seeing that silver colored ultrathin notebook (as thin as 1.20 inches down to 0.8 inches in a wedge shape, and runs from 0.76 inches to 0.16 inches) , packed with built-in iSight camera, a full size backlit keyboard in Black, a full size 13.3 inches LED-backlit display, a 1.8 inches hard drive with 80GB standard (option for 64GB solid-state disk), Core 2 Duo chip on board at 1.6GHz standard (option to go to 1.8 GHz), among others.....

whew!!

heard it has Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, magsafe connector.. etc.. etc.. etc...

anyway... too good to be true? yep.. shipment will start two weeks after it was introduced by Mr. Steve Jobs and preorders are already on...

The price... a whopping $1799. not bad eh..

legend of treasure...

i'd been waiting for this... yep yep! showing na po!

I Am Legend (Will Smith) at National Treasure : Book of Secrets (Nicolas Cage).

iniisip ko nga kung alin sa dalawa ang uunahin kong panoorin. unfortunately, di ako makakasabay ngayon kasi nga, may trabaho.. OT ulet at ayaw ko din manood ng maraming kasabay. mas na enjoy ko kasi yung movie pag konti lang nanonood. parang nung pinanood ko noon yung Lord of the Rings : Fellowship of the Ring. halos one and a half month nang naipapalabas eto nung nag decide akong panoorin ng mag-isa. at sa recto ko pa eto pinanood. sa ever gotesco. hanep.. solo ko halos yung buong sinehan. parang exclusive screening for me.. heheh... kaya naman di ko talaga namalayan ang oras at pakiramdam ko, asa middle earth ako nung time na yun at kasamang nakikipaglaban nila Aragorn at Legolas sa mga orcs.. heheh. Hanggang sa pag-uwi ko nga sa boarding house para ko pa ring naririnig yung himig ni Enya na kumakanta ng May It Be... ^_^

ayun, sana bigyan ulet ako ng free tickets ng Columbia Pictures for the National Treasure movie at ng Warner Bros. para naman sa I am Legend. YM ko na kaya sila??

New Year's Challenge

Bagong taon.. bagong buhay... or hindi??

I think it depends... I'm looking forward to a new opportunity right now. Actually.. this is the 4th time that I have given a 'possibility of change' regarding my career... yun nga lang.. unfortunately.. lahat nang yun 'di natuloy. Pero di pa rin ako nawawalan ng pag-asa.

The only thing that holds me back right now is leaving my comfort zone. Imagine.. ilang taon na ba ako dito? Kaya nga ako ninenerbyos eh.. heheh.

Pag nalipat na ko sa kabilang department.. feeling ko.. haharapin ko na si Donald Trump. Every task will be a challenge. Pero gusto ko yun eh. Kaya nga favorite ko yung 'The Apprentice'. Cause I love to do what those people do.. and seeing themselves outside of the boardroom with heads up cause of a successful campaign and enjoying their luxurious reward after.

Right now.. I miss those challenges. Sana nga lang, pagbigyan nila ako ngayon. Ayoko na tuluyan nang malugaw utak ko sa 'stagnation'.

Am I up to the challege? Hmmm... let's wait and see... I think I deserve that rewards too.
