txting while driving

Using cell phones while driving causes “inattention blindness,” whereby the driver looks directly at the road but doesn’t really see. More often, conducting a conversation via a cell phone demands greater continuous concentration that diverts the driver’s eyes from the road and his/her mind from driving. An earlier study by the same university found that motorists who talked on hands-free cell phones were 18 percent slower in braking and took 17 percent longer to regain the speed they lost when they braked.

We had a photoshoot on July 18 in Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Why there?

Well, Apples asked me to. The original location was in Peninsula Manila. But we had this idea of having it on a "track and field" instead. So, like a "location agent", I dialled 187 (?? pldt hotline) and asked for Rizal Memorial Stadium's number. I only have less than a week and a half to book for the best location. And it was a success. The track and field was available and managed to reserve it on the 18th.

But before photoshoot, it rained non-stop all week. Apples and the designers were so concern that the photoshoot will be impossible in an open area, so they asked me to look for other possible locations. That was Thursday, the 17th.

You guess it right. I'd called every gym, school... any location I can think of like crazy. But its too late for them to accomodate us. In the end, I just prayed for the rain to stop.

And it did! Friday was really sunny and I'm so thankful.

Then, another problem discovered when I reached the location. There's no electricity! Where in the world will the hairdressers and makeup artists do their things with the models?? Plus, the room reserved for us was too small to fit all 30 pax comfortably (12 designers, 6 models, photographers, make up crew, staff and caterer).

Apples was already calling me on my cellphone, telling me that Arcy and Rhett were already outside. The models were there too and the room wasnt ready yet! I had to look for an alternative room fast or it will be a disaster! So I ran toward the Ninoy stadium asked the guard where's the manager and went to him, negotiate to give us room, with aircon, cr and couch. I wasn't expecting it to happen, but like a miracle, he did spare me a room! And take note, he lend me their VIP room! Maybe he saw that I'm so desperate and sincere at the same time. Thanks so much to him lending us the VIP room. He's an angel!!

So there they were, sitting comfortably, chatting happily while having their make up. The caterer served the food and everyone were satisfied.

Apples called me and proudly said that it's all thanks to me, they had a great location. The lead artist of L'Oreal kept on telling her that they didn't the same "accommodation" when they did their last project there and he was really surprised on what I have provided them.

That really made me happy. Like an "apprentice" scene where made me feel I'm so ready to face Donald Trump in the boardroom.

Right now, I have all their photos in poster mounted in foam boards, signed.

Hmmmm.. where in my room will i put it?? heheheheh
